Mental Wellbeing

We work with organisations to highlight the importance of mental wellbeing in the workplace, through guidelines and awareness sessions. We offer Standard Mental Health First Aid™ certification (MHFA).

  • We focus on increasing knowledge and awareness around mental wellbeing and mental ill health and how organisations can build a mentally healthy workplace, prioritise wellbeing and support their people.

  • Approximately 20% of Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year. Completing a MHFA™ Course will help you to develop the skills to support a friend, family member or co-worker.

    Having mental health first aid skills means that you can assist someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis and make a real difference to your community.

    You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.

    MHFA training is associated with improved knowledge of mental illnesses, their treatments and appropriate first aid strategies, and confidence in providing first aid to individuals with mental illness. It is also associated with decreased stigma and an increase in help provided.
